For 2024, one of OMC’s strategic priorities is maternity care, newborns, and their families. We have nearly doubled the number of babies born at OMC in 2023, and we are thrilled to continue to be part of the family for their care. We have an amazing staff of obstetric care nurses and doctors, and shortly, our new nurse midwife will begin seeing patients. To continue to provide the best care for our patients, we are in need of replacing some of our most important equipment because it has seen its useful life. One of the most essential items in keeping our moms and babies safe is a fetal heart monitor. This allows staff to monitor the mom and baby’s heart rates, the mom’s dilation, and the mom’s contractions before, during and after delivery. To fund four heart monitors, the cost is $67,000. The foundation is honored to help OMC fund these items, and we would be grateful for your support.

The Gala will be held on Friday, May 3rd at Falls Wedding and Events between Dresser and St. Croix Falls, WI from 5 to 10 p.m. Our theme is Boots and Bowties, and we ask our attendees to dress up and wear their favorite boots (and maybe a bowtie) to raise money for this cause. We will have boot and bow tie contests and some fun fair style games as well as our regular silent auction and raffle.
